routine

In an effort to change up our routine a bit, I've been taking Bodhi to some new parks. We recently went to Clover park (the airport park) which is right next to the Santa Monica Airport. We had such a fun time. The park has several playgrounds. One with sand for bigger kids and one with the squishy floor for little kids. There are also tennis courts and a baseball diamond. We walked around the whole park and spent quite a bit of time watching the planes take off from the airport runway. Bodhi kept pointing to all the airplanes and since then continues to do so every time we see an airplane. We have also been going to the playground that is just a few blocks away from our place. Bodhi likes to play in the sand and go down the slide. I still hold his hand while he climbs the steps and goes down the slide. I am trying to let him do more on his own, but I'm still a little too nervous to let go of him just yet.

Nice park. Lauryn still enjoys eating breakfast at Ikea just because you can see the planes come and go from the windows! So no, planes never get old.
