outings

The first month at home we stayed in a lot.  In fact Bodhi didn't leave the house until he was about a month old.  Since then we go out quite a bit.  At first Bodhi disliked his car seat and would cry every time we put him in it to go somewhere.  but lately his mood has changed and he willing goes into his chair, knowing that we will be going on an outing.

Some of his favorite outings have been:

-Disneyland, with his aunt Sherry and cousins Dahlia and Mason

-Walking to the Santa Monica farmer's market with mom and dad

-Target, everyone's favorite store

-Babies R Us, his first trip out and many more since then

-Tri City park with all his cousins.

now that bodhi is two months old, he has been smiling and cooing a lot more.  he is usually in a great mood in the morning and likes to wake up his mom and dad to play.  he loves to look at anything with lights and music and really likes the rainforest waterfall soother that is in his crib

2 months!

To celebrate Bodhi's second month birthday today, here is a set of photos that shows a full day of his life.  From early one morning to early the next.  Today he goes to get his first set of immunizations :(   Wish him luck!

Sleeping...

This is what Bodhi does with most of his time... sleep.  Sleeping in his little bed, sleeping on the couch, sleeping in the car, sleeping with mom, sleeping on dad.  He's starting to become a lot more active now, but the first couple of months have been a lot of this.  

Welcome!

On March 16th, 2008, little Bodhi Gordon Rojas was born into the world. He was 5 lbs, 15 1/2 oz., 18 inches long and 3 weeks early. I guess he was just in a hurry to get started!

This is his mom, Jennifer. She's lookin' pretty good for being such a new mom. St. Patrick's Day is coming up, so the nurses put him in an appropriate hat :)
