rainy days and new words

We have had to stay inside quite a bit this week because of the rain. I think both Bodhi and me start to go a little stir crazy staying inside all day so it is nice when the rain finally lets up and we can run outside for some fresh air. Yesterday when we were rained in again, Bodhi was pulling out all of the board games from the hall closet. Imagine a mix of scrabble tiles, chess, and checkers pieces all over the floor. I would clean up one game and he would pull out another one. I think Bodhi enjoys this game a bit more than I do. Then he walked into the bathroom and closed the door. He was trying to turn the bathroom knob to get out and started saying "Mommy, Mommy" At this moment I thought, "oh good I can get all this stuff back into the closet before I open the door." But as I continued to pick up the pieces he said "Mommy, help". Oh my gosh, he sounded so cute asking for help I had to stop what I was doing and open the door that moment. He is talking so much lately and every day he says some new word that I didn't know he knew. It is so fun to see him learn new words.

We love playing with Playdough

Yes funny that we have had so many sunny days lately and you all get a little taste of what it is like to live in Portland :)
