roll over

Today Bodhi rolled from his tummy onto his back.  I think I was more excited than he was.  I kept putting him on his stomach so he could do it again.

play dates

Bodhi got to hang out with his cousins several times this week.  On Wednesday we went to Disneyland with Mason and Dahlia (Miles came too!)  and Friday we spent the whole day with Zena; shopping, out to lunch, and playing dress up.

3 kids!!!

As you may have heard, Jen and I were on baby-sitting duty this weekend.  It was quite a task but we pulled through.  It helps that all three of them are so cute!  Mason and I played with bubbles and robots, Dahlia and Jen did a lot of crawling around and playing with toys and Bodhi just seemed completely amused to watch the whole thing.  He especially likes to look at Dahlia, the two of them stare at each other and smile and laugh.  I wonder what babies think about when they see other babies.  Well, cheers, little guys, we'll have more playdates soon!

The Boss

Jen and Bodhi came by my work today to visit.  We went shopping and picked up some lunch to take back to the office to eat.  I miss my little family while I'm at work so it's always good to see them.  I like the first picture, say hello to the little boss man.  "Um, yeah, I'm gonna need you to just go ahead and come in on Saturday, mmkay?  Great."

3 months

Bodhi is three months old today.  I can't believe how quickly the time is flying by.  I have one more month at home to be with him and then it will be Ray's turn for a while.  Bodhi is becoming less interested in his toys and more interested in engaging with people.  He has been talking and smiling to everyone.  He likes to be carried around in the Baby Bjorn so that he can see what is going on - even if it is just putting away dishes or folding laundry.

new things

Bodhi is growing so fast!  He has been blowing bubbles, drooling, and playing new games with Mom and Dad. He especially likes flying high over his Dad's head and "This little piggy went to Market" on his toes.  He also likes to look in the mirror and smiles when he sees his reflection.

baptism

This last Sunday, Bodhi and his cousin Dahlia were both baptized at the Wayfarer's Chapel. After the ceremony, we all made our way over to my sisters house to celebrate with some lunch.  Bodhi was very good during the ceremony and smiled at the minister when he was baptized.

playtime!

Today, I got to watch Bodhi all day while the girls went wine-tasting. Normally, I would be quite jealous... however, Bodhi and I got to do a lot of playing together. He really likes his mobile in his crib, a little, light-up star on his playmat, and the spinning toys on his swing. We also read some books and went for a walk to the beach (although he slept all the way there). It was a fun day :)
